The Realities Of Marriage You Need To Know.

Dear BACHELOR/ SPINSTER, 
with a BURDENED Heart I pen down my thoughts this Evening hoping it meets your heart in a receptive state.
Let me ask you these questions.
peradventure you have not had the time to ask yourself before.

Chai, People are getting married nowadays just to say I am married too. I have now done what my mates are doing .
What! 
Is that what you will take into marriage?
Let me allow you think on these questions.
 
1)WHY DO YOU WANT TO MARRY?
What exactly is the MOTIVE behind that desire to settle down?
Is it your age?
Your parents?
Your friends?
The society?
Look, If you don't have a positive and a Godly motive behind that urge to get married.
please it is STILL good for you to be alone..
Marriage is not a Prerequisite for so many things in life.
But if you are settling down,please settle down with the mindset of adding values spiritually,physically,emotionally and in all areas.
Do you know that a Purposeless marriage is a potential seat for the devil and his cohorts?
Yes!
 They impose their own agenda on you when you don't have one.
So desire a PURPOSEFUL MARRIAGE.
Don't get married because of things that won't stand the test of time.

2)Do you know that marriage is a MINISTRY?
Can you be an EFFECTIVE minister in your own home?
Your ministration is not expected to be limited to when you are on the pulpit.
Either you believe this or not, you will minister everyday to your spouse.
 What kind of ministration will your husband/wife enjoy from you?
Torture?
Abuse?
Punching,battering,assault,insults?
Defrauding your spouse
Will the ministration be the kind that LIFTS the spirit of your wife after experiencing a major blow from her business.
Or 
Will you RAIN curses and disrespect on your husband after a hectic day at work?

3)Do you know that if you are a CHURCH GOER/PRETENDER or  an UNSTABLE brother/sister now as a youth, marriage will reveal who you are later?
Your true colours can't be covered for long.
You can't conceal a bad attitude with make up.

4)Do you know that your Spiritual stature in Christ that you MAGNIFY now before people will appear as it is when you are married?

5)Do you also know that your IN-LAWS are part of the people you will minister to in marriage?
After 2 years of marriage,will they glorify God for your life or will they regret accepting you into the family?

6)Do you know you will give an account of your Marriage also on the judgment day?
What will you tell God you have done for your husband and children?
Encouraged them? Or have destroyed them?

7)Do you also know that the BEDROCK of a SOLID marriage and a blissful home is your RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS?
This is paramount!
Get it right now.
Stop RELIGION.
KNOW JESUS INTIMATELY..
Settle accounts with God Brethren, stop a double way of life.
Study the word of God and meditate on it.
Allow the word to prune, adjust and rebuild your life.
Take your time to pray earnestly,desire the Holy Ghost baptism,talk with God always,get used to God.
Grow in the knowledge of God.
Yes!
Desire to know God more.
That's when you will hear God when he wants you to pray for your spouse instead of your incessant corrections that may lead to a serious marital issue.

8)Do you know that if you don't get your life well established on the ROCK which is JESUS, your marriage won't stand the test of time?
LITTLE STORMS WILL WASH IT AWAY
It is Jesus that keeps a home and He is the one that makes all things beautiful...
CAN YOU SEE NOW THAT YOU NEED THIS SOLID ROCK JESUS
CHRIST?
Yes!
You need Him.

Lastly, Do you know that what you use in BUILDING the Foundations of your COURTSHIP now will have a LASTING effect on your marriage in the future?
please, don't use Fornication,Abortion, lukewarmness,lies and deceit as part of your building blocks.

They are not strong and can't hold your marriage Firmly.
So, build well Brethren and Make amends now.
