I recently missed a meeting so that I could spend time with my family. To be honest, I felt a little bad about missing the program, but my children and wife were thrilled that I made the sacrifice for them.
The greatest team you could ever have is your family! Come Rain or come Sun Family remains. We can't do without each other... We argue, we fight but in the end we still love and forgive each other because forgiveness is the best form of love.

When you become so consumed with your ministry, job, business, calling or career at the expense of your home, you are sliding down into Prophet Samuel's and Eli's pit.
Prophet Eli and Samuel in the Bible were celebrated prophets of God but their children were worthless because they were too busy with ministries at the expense of their family. (1 Samuel 8:3) They were a success in the ministry but at home they were nothing but a miserable failure. And The consequence was terrible!
Many pastors have let ministries replace their families. They sacrifice their family on the altar of ministry. For the sake of a “successful” ministry, they are neglecting their family. Sadly, they forget that their own family is their primary ministry.
Ministry requires a lot of time and attention, and if we are not careful, it’s easy for ministry to replace our family.
As pastors we need to regularly be reminded that the character qualifications necessary to serve in ministry are related primarily to our engagement with our family. In 1 Timothy 3 says: The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of a pastor, he desires a noble task.... He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God’s church?
You cannot care for God’s church if you do not know how to manage your own household. Your household must come first because it is the proving ground for your ministry.
Your Greatest Trophy And Awards Are Not The Ones Given To You By Big Organization and media. Your Family Is Your Greatest Trophy! Work and pray hard to win them.
Your Family is the only tape-rule for measuring your true success.
Your spouse is your trophy, your children are your medals. You are still a big failure if you are a world class celebrity and a drop out at home.
The Point Is Place Great Value on Your Family. Be There For Them. Plan a vacation. It doesn’t have to be expensive. Make time for your wife
Don't sacrifice your family on the altar of work or ministry. Keep your priorities in order before you lose your Family!
Never become a world class celebrity but a drop out at home.
Build your family today. Place more importance on them because family Is Everything!
Get committed to building a model family. Commitment is key to a happy marriage/family. Give your spouse and children the best of your time and attention, not just what is left after you've given the rest and the best to everyone else.
Make your home a place of love, laughter, peace, and joy.
A marriage is more than a vow at the altar. It is a promise that is fulfilled with a commitment to be there for your family and do them good for the rest of your life.
If you neglect your Family today, sorrow awaits you in your old age.
